Will my veggie plants still produce after rabbits ate the leaves off?

Rabbits have ate the leaves off of my pepper plants, so all that is left is a stalk sticking out of the ground. Do I have to replant all of these or will they continue to grow and still produce peppers? We have just put up a two foot fence around the garden, so I don’t have to worry about them eating anything else. I just didn’t know if I needed to replant what they’ve nibbled on.

kill or trap all rabbits, you need to replant. You can eat the rabbits if you like

Rabbits ate all the leaves off of my green bean plants. They looked like they were green sticks in the ground after the rabbits got done with them. Lo and behold, almost all of the plants grew their leaves back and are doing great. After the rabbit smorgasboard, I put tin cans around what was left of the plants. I also went to the hardware store and bought some generic rabbit repellent granules and sprinkled it around the vegetable garden. My green bean plants haven’t been tampered with since.

Peppers branch from buds at the base of leaves. If you can see branch buds. You stand a good chance of having them come back.
