I live in the midwest and have a 4 x 8 plastic greenhouse, what can I plant at this time of year?

I’m hoping the greenhouse will keep out the frost and allow me to grow something into late November or possibly December.

When to plant in a greenhouse?

I live in Upstate New York (Zone 5) and am doing my first garden this year. So far, it has gone very well and we are considering building our own greenhouse next year to get an early start on the season. What I can’t seem to find out anywhere is exactly when do I want to start my seeds? If anyone can give me some guidance here, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

How can I add extra warmth to my greenhouse?

Without buying an expensive heating system? Starting a greenhouse and have lots of questions!?

I’m just getting a greenhouse started (in Northerrn CA) andh ave tons of questions about planting ~ when, what, temps, growing through the winter, and much more! I’ve googled, but aren’t finding good info. Anyone know some good sources?? I’m wanting to grow veggies. I’ve had outdoor planter boxes for the past few years ~ this year we removed them and are building an actual greenhouse, hoping to grow veggies year round.

I am considering a shed and greenhouse combination. Would it get too hot inside?

Would strawberries grow better in a greenhouse?

I am growing a couple of strawberry plants in a pot on my doorstep and where there is sunshine for about 4-5 hours a day but I was wondering if they would grow better in a greenhouse No animals can get into the garden except from birds which get fedin the garden and if it helps the variety of strawberry is ‘Elsanta’

I am interested in growing vanilla and am aware that it takes a few years. If anyone can just help me with how often to water/fertilize and what kind of potting materials, etc (I have a greenhouse already and live in California so the weather is almost consistently temperate)? Also, does anyone know where I can find/buy a vanilla plant?
